Nickelodeon UK Wins Three Gold Awards At The "Promax UK 2011 Awards"

According to the official Promax UK 2011 Awards website, Nickelodeon UK and Ireland won five Promax UK 2011 awards, including three Gold awards at Promax UK's recent 'Promax UK 2011 Awards' ceremony which was held on on Friday 11th November 2011 to honour the very best promotions and marketing campaigns for television shows over the past year (2010-2011). Below is a list of awards that Nickelodeon UK won at the 'Promax UK 2011 Awards':
Best Children's Promo (Originated)

Gold: Red Bee Media Horrible Histories
Silver: Walt Disney Company – Phineas and Ferb
Bronze: Nickelodeon UK – Friendship Month

Best Children's Promo (Clip-Based)

Promax UK annually holds the Promax UK Awards to celebrate and reward the very best in televisual creative, strategy and innovation over the past twelve months.

4Creative leads the pack at PromaxUK awards

Channel 4’s inhouse creative team, 4 Creative, won 26 awards at the annual PromaxUK awards, which honour the best promos and marketing campaigns for TV shows.

Red Bee Media scooped 14 awards, which were held on Friday (11 November), while Fox took home a total of 13 awards.

CBBC’s Horrible Histories took home the Best Use of Direction award for Red Bee Media as well as the Gold Award for the Most Effective TV Promo Campaign while ITV took Silver in the same category for The Only Way Is Essex.

BBC One drama Luther starring Idris Elba won the Best Originated Drama Promo award for Red Bee while Sky Creative/BSkyB took the Gold for Boardwalk Empire in the Best Clip Based Drama Promo category.

Katie: My Beautiful Friends took Gold in the Best Originated Factual/News and Current Affairs category for 4 Creative/Channel 4 while The Apprentice took Gold for Red Bee in the Best Clip Based Category.

The Best Launch in 2011 went to MTV UK for Teen Dad, while 4 Creative/Channel 4 took Silver and Bronze for Jamie’s Dream School and Famous and Fearless respectively.

Discovery also had a good night, winning Gold awards for categories including Channel Of The Year, People’s Choice and Best Channel Branding Package.

TV2 Denmark took the Gold Award for Best On Air Campaign – TV Promotion for September 11th – The Day That Changed The World and Gold for the Best Promotion for a Website or Interactive Service for tv2.dk-we never sleep.

Red Bee won Gold for the Best Game or App The Walking Dead – FX International.

The Best Sports Promo Originated Gold Award went to Channel One Russia for Football: Russia v Ireland Euro 2012 Qualifier; Nickelodeon UK for its Spongebob Apprentice Campaign; 4Creative/Channel 4 took two Golds for Best Print and Best Press and Public Relations Campaign for its launch of Seven Dwarves.

The Best Newcomer Award was won by Phil Ashley of Channel 5 with Lucy Badger also from Channel 5 taking second place and Steve Seller from Comedy Central in third.
