"House of Anubis" Star Jack Donnelly To Star In BBC One's Upcoming Family Fantasy Series "Atlantis"

The British national daily tabloid newspaper the Daily Mirror, also known as The Mirror, is reporting in an article on their official website, mirror.co.uk, the exciting news that Jack Donnelly, who played drama teacher Mr. Jason Winkler in the first season of Nickelodeon's hit mystery drama series "House of Anubis", will be starring in BBC One's brand new family fantasy Original British Drama series "Atlantis"!


According to Digital Spy, in Atlantis, Jack Donnelly plays Jason, a young hero who finds himself in the mythical city and briefs legendary figures Hercules (Mark Addy) and Pythagoras (Robert Emms).

On a personal quest, Jason encounters magic and fights monsters, while catching the eye of Ariadne (Aiysha Hart) - a princess and the daughter of the city's rulers, Pasiphae (Sarah Parish) and Minos (Alexander Siddig).

Jemima Rooper (Medusa) and Juliet Stevenson (The Oracle) also star in the upcoming drama, which will run for 13 weeks and is currently shooting its final episodes.

"Atlantis", which has been created by "Misfits" creator Howard Overman with "Merlin"'s Johnny Capps and Julian Murphy, will premiere on Saturday, September 28 on BBC One.
