Surfer Sabre Norris gets slimed at Nickelodeon's 2017 Kids' Choice Awards

She's the pint-sized surfing star who stole Australia's heart after she left viewers in stitches by calling her dad 'fat' in an interview.

And now Sabre Norris has continued to show off her quirky humour after Ellen Degeneres asked her to be her Orange Carpet Correspondent at Saturday's Kid's Choice Awards.

In the clip, which aired Wednesday 15th March 2017 on The Ellen Show, the 11-year-old squealed with delight as she interviewed famous celebrities from Gwen Stefani to Demi Lovato.

She began her coverage by giving her peppy 'Gday' shout-out to the talk show host as she rocked a white swan dress top, ivory tulle skirt and pink studded leather jacket with a red lining.

The wildcard World Surf League star finished off her ensemble with patterned sneakers, knee-length cream socks and a pale purple headband with bow.

Sabre posed for the cameras, hands on hip, before she grabbed the microphone to meet her first celebrity.

Swanning around: Sabre wore a long sleeve shirt with a picture of a crowned swan on it, tucking it into her ivory skirt

Pretty in pink: Sabre styled a studded pink jacket, with a ruby red lining, as well as a pale purple tulle bow in her hair

Rocking the orange carpet: The viral sensation posed for the cameras before she grabbed the microphone to meet her first celebrity.

'Just breathe, Just breathe' she said as rock star Gwen Stefani approached, before she regained her nerve to tell the Hollaback Singer she was an 'absolute stunner'.

'My favourite thing about you is that you are just such a powerful woman and you tell girls that they can be whoever they want to be and that it's okay to be different,' Sabre said.

She then spoke with comedian Kevin Hart, blurting out that she did her research on him to find out he was once a shoe salesman.
Sabre received a strong response when she asked the Central Intelligence actor if he would like some Vegemite or donuts, with Kevin claiming he needed to maintain his physique.

'I don't want no Vegemite, I fell for that before,' he joked.

'You are just such a powerful woman': The young surfer thanked Gwen Stefani for 'telling girls that they can be whoever they want to be and that it's okay to be different'

The pint-sized star mixed it up with John Cena, offering the former wrestler some Tic Tacs before pouring hundreds of them into his outstretched hand.

Other celebrities Sabre spoke to included Noah Cyrus, Miles Brown and the cast of the upcoming Power Rangers film.

She even practiced her dance moves with Little Mix and performed the worm in front Maddie Ziegler, tearing her dress in the process.
But it was Demi Lovato that got Sabre squealing, with the duo discussing hair and boys.

Fast friends: Demi Lovato gave Sabre some sage advice, talking about their hairstyles and first kisses

Revealing she had her first kiss at age 11, Demi told an excited Sabre to make sure she waits though 'until you find the special person'.

'They have to remember that their so lucky to give you a kiss.'

In true Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards fashion, Sabre finished her coverage with a sliming and, despite some initial fears and scared faces, found it a 'fun' experience.

Prepare to be slimed: Sabre finished her coverage with an event tradition - getting slimed - but called the experience fun

Sabre rose to fame after she was interviewed on the beach in Cronulla in November 2016 by The Today Show after a surfing event.

She was given a wildcard to enter the Sydney International Pro by Australian surfer Sally Fitzgibbon, and became the second youngest surfer ever to compete in a World Surf League event.

Her hilarious interview, included her calling her dad and former Olympic swimmer Justin Norris 'fat' because he ate so much ice-cream.

Sabre's father is Newcastle swimmer Norris who won a bronze medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and now runs a swimming academy in the NSW city.
