Nickelodeon Animation Launches Animated Shorts Facebook Page

Nickelodeon Animation, Nickelodeon's animation studio dedicated to creating the best animation for kids, has a extremely popular and very active development and digital shorts program.


To celebrate the excellent short-form content produced by the Nickelodeon Animated Shorts Program, Nickelodeon Animation this week launched the Nickelodeon Animated Shorts Facebook page, showcasing the latest and greatest shorts from Nickelodeon Animation. So far, Nickelodeon Animation has released four fantastic shorts:

- My Friend Pancake created by Rikke Asbjoern (co-Creator Pinky Malinky):



Hazel and her cowardly ten-foot-tall cat, Pancake, try to befriend a giant chicken causing chaos in their magical forest.

Rikke Asbjoern worked in animation for commercials before eventually ending up at Nickelodeon Animation in the studios' Artist Collective, working in the Shorts Program.

- Slimelab created by Nick Arciaga (Pinky Malinky:



Toby and Gooby, two scientists at Slimelab, are hungry but have no microwave to cook their frozen burritos.

- Dog & Squirrel created by Andrea Gerstmann (Pig Goat Banana Cricket):



Dog is a simple dog who likes human food and wants to play as dogs do. Squirrel is neurotic and seed-obsessed as squirrels are.

- Best Baddies created by Max Wittert:



Three witches plot to turn a boring small town into a fun place through a little mischief.

- Nickelodeon Animated Shorts Sizzle Reel:
